Lulu has a passion for horses! During treatment, it was “My Little Pony” and “Brave”, and because she’s begged for lessons, we enrolled her in a summer camp 2 years ago. I thought it would be enough, but she fell in love and it totally backfired.
Treatment took an emotional toll on her, but horse riding feeds her soul. She practices in between lessons building jumps in the yard, and she studies and watches competitions on YouTube. At her first show, she placed and left with 3 ribbons.
Chemo kicked her butt, but she doesn’t quit! She’s even been on a ventilator twice, but she’s bounced back with HARD work, learning how to nourish her body with good food and staying fit.
