Contrary to popular belief, cancer is NOT the problem, and it’s NOT a chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery deficiency.
In fact, cancer is simply the symptom of an underlying issue. It’s an imbalance in a person’s body that allowed the cancer to take over in the first place.
Now…we recognize that this perspective may be new information, but if you’re currently in the midst of a cancer journey, we hope that this truth will really sink in and equip you in understanding that there’s an underlying cause that needs to be addressed and that this will then lead you to taking the correct steps towards truly healing a sick body.
We also want to give you 5 uncommon suggestions that we believe are foundational to healing…but that you don’t often hear.
- Prioritize your healing! This means looking over your schedule and taking out everything that’s not a “HELL, YES!” because this is a time for you to focus on your healing and health!
- Be honest, transparent, and open with your close friends and family on how you can use their help and support. You can even share this with them if it’s easier.
- Spend less time and establish healthy boundaries with the people in your life who are toxic, contribute to your stress, or pull from your energy.
- Believe you can heal! Deepak Chopra stated, “Every cell in your body is eavesdropping on your thoughts.” So…think healing, think health, think positive!
- Spend 10 minutes each morning practicing meditation. We love Head Space, Soul Space, and Unplug Meditation Apps.

Kaikane’s Story with KICKcancER:
(This is from Kaikane’s mom, Casie.)
“Kai was born a fighter. He was born into the foster care system, with a hole in his heart, and drug withdrawals. My two boys and I excitedly picked Kai up from the hospital at 2 days old. We began our journey as a family of 4 unaware of what was about to happen.
On September 30, 2021, our world turned upside down when we heard the doctor say, “Kaikane has stage 3 Wilm’s Tumor. He will need to be flown to O’ahu immediately to have surgery..” On October 2, 2021, his one year adoption anniversary Kaikane had his right kidney removed. This spunky and full of love 3 year old boy would then undergo 6 radiation treatments and 27 scheduled chemotherapy treatments. I said “scheduled” because along the way Kai would experience cranial nerve damage, drop foot, low red and white blood counts, transfusions, which lead to him missing treatments.
As any concerned mom when approached with diagnosis, I started searching the internet. I was lead to a Facebook post of a beautiful mom sharing a video of essential oil mixtures she used on her son during his chemotherapy treatments. I did more research and found out this mom didn’t just help her son, but started something wonderful to help all families going through the same situation.
KICKcancER put together a starter kit of products. Our favorite was the kid’s natural solutions kit. As tears rolled down my face I looked through the box in awe. There were descriptions and instructions on how to use each product. Detox baths (not just worked for Kai, but me as well), snacks, branch basic laundry (that really works), deodorant (made of EO and desperately needed being away from home, alone, and couldn’t go into the store due to Kai’s weak immune system), a diffuser bracelet, hand sanitizer, and so much more. Since we were used to essential oils, Kai knew exactly what they were and how to use them. Kaikane made my heart melt when he knew I needed to be cared for also and oiled me up as well.
This has been a long journey, but thankfully Kaikane is now in remission…PRAISE GOD. When things get intense and you feel like you can’t take another moment or cry another tear…DON’T GIVE UP. Don’t stop praying. Don’t stop believing. I know every situation, diagnosis, or outcome isn’t the same but please remember you are loved!!!”
